Very LARGE unusual and RARE Mary Gregory turquoise glass ormolu mounted CASKET/Lidded/Hinged BOX. VICTORIAN antique and magnificent. I have not seen a piece this large. For a lady’s dresser or for a living room/dining room setting. Would think this was for jewelry, potpourri, perfume pots, so many things it could have been used for and could be used today. Almost 5 inches high and at widest about 6 inches. Looks like Little Red Riding Hood depiction. Little girl with basket, kerchief, shawl, and small dog that is prancing next to her and is depicted beautifully. Amazing how tiny the strokes.
