Vintage Mid Century Modernist K Denning Copper Blue White Enamel Collar Necklace Kay Denning was an artisan jeweler who created enameled copper jewelry in the 1960s and 1970s. She is best known for the rich deep glow of her enamels that she crafted using raised cookies of glass. Her distinctive style features designs made with large’frit’ cookies or globs of colored glass with contrasting color backgrounds. Blue frit necklace on white pink undertone background is about 14.5″ long, panels are 1 1/5″ long x 3/4 wide. Overall very good condition, a few tiny spots with missing enamel on the front, back shows more imperfections of the enamel (see pics). Blue on blue bracelet is about 7″ long x about 0.75″ wide. Each panel is slightly over 1. Enameling appears to be in a better shape. Gorgeous deep blue color! Both pieces in my opinion are in very good shape, considering their age.
