Description: Offered is an astoundingly beautiful Venetian art glass decanter with 4 small glasses and a matching vase in deep cobalt blue. All pieces are hand blown and heavily gilt with hand enameled raised flowers. All pieces date likely to the mid-late 19th century with the glasses each having a red sticker indicating “Made in Italy”. The decanter 9.25″ tall (with stopper) and 7.25″ without x 5 across the widest part of the bulbous body. The glasses are each 1 5/8″ across x 2″ tall and the vase stands 8.25″ tall with flared mouth and opening about 1″ (perfect for a single thick stemmed flower or a few small ones). The pieces are all in very good condition with no bites or chips but there is some wear to the gilding, mostly at the mouth of one of the glasses. A fresh estate find!
